French Business News for Language Learners

From the CAC 40 to European trade negotiations, French business journalism is rich with vocabulary you'll use for life. Lectura adapts real articles from top French sources to your exact level — so you build professional French while staying genuinely informed.

French business journalism spans one of the world's most significant economic footprints — France's major corporations and the CAC 40, Belgium's financial sector, Québec's distinct economic identity, Switzerland's banking and pharmaceutical industry, and the growing economies of francophone West Africa. Reading about business in French from A1 to B1 builds a vocabulary set that appears in professional contexts, travel, and everyday life: entreprise, employé, investissement, marché, croissance. The three-level structure on Lectura means you can begin at A1 with simple present-tense company announcements, move to A2 when past tense reporting becomes comfortable, and reach B1 where you are following full analytical pieces about economic policy and corporate strategy. Business French also builds register awareness earlier than most topics — formal language and precise numbers appear at every level, which means the French you acquire from business news transfers directly to professional use. The reward for reading business French consistently is vocabulary that actually gets used.
